The short version is that Bates Troy recently embarked on a $3,000,000 expansion of their Dry Cleaning Plant. One day, after putting up with noisy construction, unkept sidewalks and beeping trucks, the residents near this monster plant were awakened to a new noise: a whooshing, whirring, low frequency hum that one local police officer described as a "low bass". The noise began to cause headaches, nausea and irratation in residents. So we did the reasonable thing: we called Bates Troy. Bates Troy's response said it all: they hung up on us.
